My Approach
What is important to you, is important to me. I firmly believe you're the expert of your experience and I am a guide that sometimes teaches, sometimes models, and a lot of times asks the curious questions you haven't asked yourself or others won't. I want to build a genuine connection with you on your journey. I approach our work with compassion and no judgment. I don't expect my clients to immediately have “results” and you shouldn't feel that burden either. Therapy can feel messy and not good at times. I have no problem holding space for you when it's messy or when it's joyful, because you deserve someone who can do all of that.

My Areas of Focus
I am especially interested in serving folx who are just trying to figure things out. Sometimes that's been as direct as just trying to figure out if you should leave your job and how do you find the next one. Sometimes that has been thinking very deeply about experiences you have had in your life and how those experiences have created how you show up in life and certain spaces now, especially in your relationships. Sometimes that's been to do the work of breaking generational cycles in your parenting. Sometimes that has been to listen, really listen, so you have someone who is totally focused on you when sometimes it might feel like no one else is.
I've done this successfully with many people but especially those who:
- have experienced trauma
- have experienced trauma that has happened over and over for a long time (complex trauma)
- have experienced the foster care system and are trying to make sense of their experiences
- are going through hard things in the moment and just need some hope and light to get to the other side

My Fees & Information
50- minute session: $180
75- minute session: $225
I have current availability for telehealth clients in California or Texas. I normally recommend a commitment to weekly sessions but we can talk about the right cadence for you.
I am not yet paneled with insurance companies, but I do intend to panel with a select few. I am primarily a self-pay practice because I do not wish to have insurance companies dictate the quality or type of care you need. Insurance will require diagnoses be made that may be used in other areas of your life that you had not wanted them to be used in as utilizing insurance requires that i provide documentation that proves “medical necessity”. I will happily provide a superbill for anyone who would like a receipt of services to provide to your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits that might reimburse you for part of your care.
I am happy to take FSA/HSA cards for payment.
I will update my site once I am fully paneled with insurance companies. I do make it a point to keep a very few spots for those who must use insurance to get care because I believe I have a duty to provide some accessibility to quality mental health services in my community. So, while I keep only a few spots open for this, please feel free to ask me about it.

I think I'm Interested, What Do I Do Next?
I'm so glad to know that you think we might be a good fit! Please click “Appointment Link” from the main navigation page or click here for the same link to calendar a consultation appointment with me.
You can expect a 15-20 minute video or phone call so I can introduce myself, you can ask the questions you may have, and I will listen to what you're hoping for in therapy. At the end of the consultation call, I will let you know if I think I am still able to serve you with my experience and skills if I feel they align with what you're looking to accomplish. You don't have to make a decision right then. You are so welcomed to take your time to think about it. The consultation call is free and I don't want you to feel any pressure to make a first appointment with me.
