I truly believe that anyone can benefit from therapy at any time. I am not going to force solutions or force your growth or healing. I am going to collaborate with you on a plan that works for you. This process can be hard, scary, and full of unknowns - I make sure that I approach our work in a way that makes it feel like you’re no longer alone and that you can really work on the things that matter to you. Sometimes the work looks like listening, sometimes it looks like activities that help you think about yourself and what’s going on in a different way, sometimes that means a little humor from me to help you see your situation from another perspective or with a little light. My approach is compassionate and relationship-focused. When people don’t like or connect with their therapist, what kind of progress will they make? I care about creating a relationship with my clients that builds connection without judgment.
